The GE Healthcare Connector Board Assembly with 3 Probe Ports is designed for use in LOGIQ P3 ultrasound machines. This assembly enhances connectivity and signal integrity, featuring a robust 12-layer FR4 circuit board and a corrosion-resistant steel cover, ensuring reliable performance and ease of replacement in clinical settings. The Connector Board Assembly 3PP (3 Probe Port) is a part of GE ultrasound machines. The assembly includes Connector Board with 3 Probe Port, EMI Cover, Shield Fingers, Screws and ESD Paper Sticker. These parts are assembled togeather to form the complete assembly. The connector board comes with 3 Probe Ports which are connected to 3 banks of relays, one each for each relay bank. It has one FPGA that acts like a buffer for the Probe related signals and is the interface between the probe and the main Transmitter Board FPGA. There is a I2C slave also implemented on this FPGA that responds and interfaces with the TX board for probe selection and control. The Power supply to the TX board from the PDB board is connected via the Connector Board. The circuit board is 12 layer board made up of a flame retardant glass laminated FR4 material. A steel,cold rolled close annealed cover is used in the assembly. It is zinc plated to add more corrosion resistance to the surface of the cover. The shiled fingers are used to fullfil the shielding and grounding needs of the connector interfaces.
