The FlashPad is a wireless digital detector that provides reliability, flexibility, and advanced imaging capabilities to the X-ray device. The shielding plug assembly consist of latch body, insulator, 0.6 mm pins, plug body, metal shield, cable clamp, plug nut and strain relief. It is used to transmit power and signal from one component to the other. This part has two different connectors at the ends. The one connector is in circular shape with 10-pin holes for connecting purpose. The shield material is nickel-plated bronze and the exterior plug bodies are made of an Ultem material, which shows resistant to hot water and steam and can withstand repeated cycles in a steam autoclave.
