The FLEX BOARD by GE Healthcare is designed for use in ultrasound systems, specifically the VOLUSON I and VOLUSON E models. This component enhances image quality by facilitating the transmission and reception of high-frequency waves, ensuring reliable performance and longevity in medical imaging applications. The RBD2.P3 flex board is used in ultrasound and other medical equipments as applicable. medical ultrasound images are created by computer and digital memory from the transmission and reception of mechanical high frequency waves generated through a probe/transducer. The ultrasound waves spread through the body, producing an echo where density changes occur. The echoes return to the transducer where they are converted back into electrical signals, thus affecting the quality of images formed. It includes display flex cover and ferrite core. Through the flex cover, the flex cable is threaded. The ferrite core is secured with the kapton tape, approximately 14 mm to 15 mm from the end of the cable. The product is made from the material which possess flexibility, reliability, easy maintenance, excellent performance, safe and increased lifespan.
