The IC9 RS Real time 2D Endocavitary Probe A is designed to use with Voluson signature series systems and other medical equipments as applicable. The Voluson signature series system is designed for user comfort and efficiency, with features that simplify exams and boost workflow. The simple user interface and ergonomic body style award fewer keystrokes. The probe assembly consists of a probe, probe care card and a document for certification of compliance. It includes EMI shield, heat shrink tube, LED, nose piece and few other accessories found in the probe assembly. This particular probe is wideband micro convex endo cavitary real time 2D transducer, which is used significantly for transrectal, obstetrics and gynecology applications. The Ultrasound waves spread through the body, producing an echo where density changes occur. The echoes return to the transducer where they are converted back into electrical signals, thus resulting the quality of images. The probe generates mechanical high frequency waves, transmits via digital memory to the computer, and forms as an image.
