The GE Healthcare Ultrasound Concentric Shaft Encoder is an electro-mechanical device designed for high accuracy and durability in ultrasound systems like the LOGIQ E9 and LOGIQ 9. Its non-contact technology ensures a long operational life, while the O-ring seal protects against moisture, enhancing performance in challenging environments. The Concentric Shaft Encode is an electro mechanical device that converts the angular position or motion of a shaft to analog or digital output signals. The encoder is manufactured using high precision techniques which helps to achieve a high dimensional accuracy and ensures a perfect fit of the encoder in the required assembly. The greatest advantage of optical encoder is its non contact switching technology which results in an exceptionally high operational life. The encoder comes with a non turn pushbutton dedicated shaft. This ensures pushbutton text and orientation helps to reduce accidental incorrect selection. They are designed for operational use to move display icons and select highlighted option. The encoder has a minimum expected rotational life of 250000 cycles which help to reduce the maintenance and down time. The encoder also comes with an O ring seal on the shaft. The O ring avoids water or moisture entering beyond the shaft seal preventing the encoder from corrosion, circuit damage, sensor contamination etc. and ensures smooth operating in challenging environments.
